Huge congratulations to senior football player Gage Perkins who recently earned All-State honors as 2nd Team All-State Wide Receiver! For the 2024 season, Gage had the 2nd most receiving yards in a season in Chippewa Hills history with 51 catches, 1,001 yards ran, and 15 touchdowns! He averaged 19.6 yards per catch! Gage also earned Division 6 All-Region honors, CSAA All-Conference honors, and made the 2024 Pioneer All-Area Team. Congratulations on this well-deserved honor, Gage!

Congratulations to our Warrior Athletes of the Week, Paula Cano and Dallas Glaser! Paula is a sophomore on the Varsity Girls Basketball team. She has put in a ton of work to get ready for the season and is the 2nd leading scorer for the team! Her energy in practice and games is infectious! Dallas is a Junior on the Wrestling team. He took first place at the Hemlock Invitational last week – his first tournament win! Way to go, Paula and Dallas!

Our Middle School Athlete of the Week is Lane Chapman! Lane is on the 7th grade Boys Basketball team. He had 20 points against Kent City and 19 points against Grant in helping the 7th grade team win both games last week! Excellent job, Lane!

Tonight’s home Middle School Boys Basketball games have been cancelled.

This weekend is our annual Joe Loren Wrestling Tournament! The boys compete on Saturday, December 14 and the girls tournament is on Sunday, December 15. The action begins at 9:00 AM on both days in our Middle School gym. NEW THIS YEAR! Phat Matt’s Food Trailer will be onsite all weekend serving up their famous fries! We’ll have concessions available, too, so there will be plenty of options to keep you fueled throughout the weekend. The Joe Loren Tournament is one of our most popular events of the year! We look forward to seeing you for some great wrestling action!

Congratulations to our Warrior Athletes of the Week, Isaac Killian and Maverick Chapman! Isaac has helped lead the Freshman Boys Basketball team to a 4-0 start with solid hustle and great defense! Maverick is one of the captains for the Varsity Boys Basketball team. He works hard, leads the team by example, and is very coachable. Way to go, Isaac and Maverick!

On Saturday, Warrior Basketball finished up their last day of the Youth Basketball Clinic! Over 100 boys and girls signed up to participate and learned what it takes to W.I.N. – Working hard, playing with Integrity, and making No excuses. We had so much fun helping these kids grow in their love for basketball and can’t wait to see these future Warriors in action! Thank you to our High School Basketball athletes who helped make this all possible. Go Warriors!

COMMITTED! Yesterday, senior Zoey Moyer signed her commitment to play softball for Principia College in Elsah, IL! Next year she’ll be a Panther, but she’ll always be a Warrior to us! Congratulations, Zoey!

Congratulations to freshman Dory Simon for running the #8 fastest girls 5K time in Chippewa Hills history! Dory is a leader on the Varsity Girls Cross Country team. She helped lead the Warriors to the CSAA Red Conference Championship, earning First-Team All-Conference Honors. Dory placed 7th at Regionals, becoming an automatic qualifier for the State Finals. At the MHSAA State Finals, held on November 2 at Michigan International Speedway, Dory finished 31st in the Division 3 race, clocking in with a time of 19:20.7 – which is the #8 fastest girls 5K time in Chippewa Hills cross country history! Impressive work, Dory!
