Chippewa Hills Middle School

The Middle School is looking very festive thanks to our Winter Door Decorating Competition! Homeroom classes competed to see who could best decorate their doorways, and they did a fantastic job! Congratulations to Mrs. Goodrich's class for winning the competition! We had a three-way tie for second place with Mrs. Simon (6th grade), Mr. Tramper, and Mrs. Wernette. ❄️☃️🎄

At the end of each month, Chippewa Hills Middle School will be recognizing one student per grade level as our Students of the Month! These students are chosen by their teachers for consistently demonstrating our WARRIOR expectations, performing well in their classes, and behaving appropriately in all areas of the school. Here are our November Students of the Month: 5th Grade - Myla Schafer, 6th Grade - Marley Snyder, 7th Grade - Eli Dore, 8th Grade - David Balbough (not pictured). Congratulations to these four! Great job being a WARRIOR!

Our Middle School Honor Society will be running the Hot Cocoa Bar at the Canadian Lakes Castle this Saturday, December 2 from 5:30-8:30 PM for Century 21 White House Realty’s Nights of Lights! In addition to hot cocoa, students will be selling homemade baked goodies to enjoy as well! Proceeds from the Hot Cocoa Bar will go toward our Middle School’s participation at the CMU Hoops for Hunger game, a school-wide fundraiser benefiting the Greater Lansing Food Bank. We hope you’ll come out to enjoy Nights of Lights this weekend and stop by to support our Middle Schoolers at the Hot Cocoa Bar!

Save the Date! Our Middle School Band's Christmas Concert will be held on Thursday, December 7 at 7:00 PM in the Middle School gym.

Save the date for the Chippewa Hills Band Boosters' Craft & Vendor Show on Saturday, December 9! Shop from over 80 vendor booths featuring wood crafts, sweet treats, glass decor, candles, soaps, jewelry, and more! Triple C Concessions Food Truck will also be onsite. There's something for everyone and this show is always a huge hit with Holiday shoppers! You won't want to miss it!

The wreaths from our Middle School wreath fundraiser will be available for pick up this Friday, the 17th! They can be picked up at the Middle School from 3:00-5:30 PM. Please pull up to the front entrance and we will come out and deliver your order. Thank you so much for your support in making our wreath fundraiser a success!

Just a reminder that all Chippewa Hills Schools will be closed tomorrow, November 15, for safety day. Good luck hunters and stay safe!

Tomorrow is our Middle School’s Veteran’s Day Celebration! Please join us in honoring all who served at a special celebration with our Middle School and High School students. All veterans are welcome to join us for refreshments at 1:30 PM and a special recognition ceremony at 2:00 PM. Students may invite a beloved veteran in their life to attend as their own special guest and can join their veteran for refreshments before the assembly. This event will be held in the Middle School gym, so please park in the Athletics parking lot behind the Middle School near the gym entrance. We look forward to seeing you there!
