Based on the most recent National Weather Service projections and warnings, Chippewa Hills Schools will be closed tomorrow, January 12, 2024. This also includes Little Warriors. We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause, but know that the safety of our students is of high priority and this is the best precaution we can take based on the information shared by the experts. Winter weather is on the way. Have you downloaded our app to get school closure notifications delivered right to your phone? The CHSD Warriors app is free on the Google Play or Apple App Store. As you are downloading the app, be sure to “Allow Notifications” when prompted. From there, you can manage your notifications by going to Menu > Settings > Notification Preferences and selecting which Chip Hills buildings you want to receive updates from. Use the CHSD Warriors app to be the first to know about school closures and stay updated on everything happening at Chippewa Hills!

Chippewa Hills School District will be giving away 250 Christmas dinners to local families in need this Holiday Season. Each dinner includes ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, rolls and a cookie. All meals will be pre-prepped, and are ready to heat and serve. To reserve meals for your family, please sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/DBCChuf5Gotiwvy38. Meals will be limited to the first 250 reservations. Meal pickup will be on Saturday, December 23 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM behind Chippewa Hills Middle School. A special thank you to Van Eerden Foodservice for donating the food and our amazing Chippewa Hills Food Service staff for preparing these meals for our community.

Free COVID test kits are available! The MI Backpack Home Test program from the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services provides free, at-home COVID-19 test kits to students and staff in Michigan’s schools. Each kit contains 2 at-home tests and are available for every student in the District. If you would like a kit, they are available for pick-up at your child’s school office during school hours.

Good Afternoon! We have our 7th and 8th grade Activity Afternoon scheduled for today after school from 3:15-5:00pm. Please make sure students who plan on attending have an arrangement to be picked up by 5:00pm. Tonight is our Orchestra Christmas Concert at 7:00 PM in the High School Auditorium. Come enjoy this beautiful Holiday performance from our students!

Our December Board of Education meeting is tonight at 6:00 PM in the High School Media Center.
