Next week is Homecoming Week! Here are our Middle School Spirit Days to celebrate! Monday – Beach Bum: Dress in shorts or a t-shirt! Tuesday – Hawaiian Day: Wear Hawaiian shirts or leis! Wednesday – Twin Day: Dress the same as a friend! Thursday – Surfer vs Biker Day: Dress like a surfer or like you have a motorcycle! Friday – Warrior Pride Day: Wear your Warriors gear or school colors!

COMING MONDAY: Say "hello" to parent-teacher chat and classroom announcements in the CHSD Warriors app with a new feature called Rooms! Now it's easier than ever to stay up-to-date with the district, schools, AND with your student's teachers and classes. On Monday, parents and guardians will receive a personalized invitation via text and email to create their login access to Rooms within the CHSD app. If you haven't done so already, be sure to download the CHSD Warriors app to your phone. It's free in the Google Play and Apple App Store.

Warrior Pride Days are back again this year! Show your school spirit by wearing your Warriors gear or school colors every Friday! Let’s make the whole district a sea of red and blue tomorrow! #warriorpridedays

WOW! We had such a great turn out at our 5th Grade Orientation last night! Thank you all for your patience and grace as we navigated this event. This was the first time our 5th graders had their own night, and we hope it helped ease some fears and anxiety about joining the middle school. We have already started talking about how we will make this event better next year! If you couldn't attend with your 5th grader last night, you are welcome to come to open house tonight with the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. This is a true "open house" format, so you can come anytime between 5:00 and 7:00. Again, thank you to our 5th grade families who joined us last night, and we look forward to seeing more students and their families tonight!

We hope to see our 5th Graders at Orientation tonight! This event starts at 6:15 and is NOT an open house style event. We hope that the majority of our 5th graders and their families can join us at 6:15 and stay through until the event ends at 7:45. This is our first time running 5th Grade Orientation, so bear with us! We are hoping this event eases some of the anxiety that transitioning from elementary to middle school can cause. Exciting news! All Chippewa Hills students will now get FREE ADMISSION at all home athletics events! Middle School and High School students must show their student ID. All students ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult. See you at the games, Warriors!

The Middle School office staff will be in the building until 6:00 PM today collecting registration paperwork. You can bring it in anytime, no appointments are needed! Students do not need to be present when dropping off paperwork. They will receive their schedules at 5th Grade Orientation on August 19th from 6:15-7:45 PM or at 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Open House on August 20th from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Schedule your child’s sports physical ASAP at the Chippewa Hills Wellness Center! The fall sports season kicks off August 12 and all athletes must have a completed physical BEFORE they can begin practice. The CHWC gets VERY busy right before the start of season and August appointment availability is already limited. The Wellness Center’s team is encouraging parents to schedule sports physicals during July to help alleviate the August rush. ATTENTION ROCKET FOOTBALL & CHEER PARENTS: Sign up is next week and all 7th and 8th grade athletes MUST have a current physical in order to participate. Call 989-697-2290 to schedule your appointment!
