🐴 Riding High: Warriors Take 4th at Regionals! 🐴

Our Chippewa Hills Equestrian Team earned an impressive 4th place at Regionals this past weekend! Freshmen Madilynn O’Neil and Tessa Ziegler represented the Warriors with amazing rides throughout the competition.

The Regionals are part of the Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association (MIHA), a nonprofit that promotes horsemanship education, interscholastic participation, and adult-supervised coaching for students in grades 5–12. Competing against 29 other teams at the Midland County Fairgrounds, our Warriors showcased their skill, dedication, and love for the sport.

We are so proud of our riders’ hard work and want to give a special thank you to the coaches, parents, and sponsors who make the Equestrian Team possible! ❤️💙

✨ Introducing Wonderful Warriors! ✨

This new series will celebrate our CHHS students who are doing great things—whether it’s acts of kindness, accomplishments, or moments that show true Warrior Pride.

Our first Wonderful Warrior is Junior, Kyle Johansen!

At Thursday’s football game, a young fan fell in the bleachers and hit her head. Without hesitation, Kyle jumped in to help — checking to make sure she was okay, gathering her things, and helping her sit back up. His quick response and genuine care made a big difference for this 10-year-old and her family. 👏

Kyle, thank you for being a Wonderful Warrior and showing us what Warrior Pride is all about! 💙❤️
