Dear Mecosta Families,

I hope that everyone has been enjoying their summer and taking some time to catch up with family and friends. It is with great excitement and a deep sense of gratitude that I introduce myself as the new principal of Mecosta Elementary. My name is Amanda Trecy, and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead this wonderful school community.

Having dedicated 14 years to the field of education, I bring with me a wealth of experience and a passion for fostering a nurturing and academically stimulating environment. I firmly believe that education is a collaborative effort, and I look forward to working closely with each of you to ensure the success and well-being of our students. It is my goal to work alongside you to help each student become successful.

As a native of the Central Michigan area, it has always been a dream of mine to eventually lead my own building as Principal. It is such an honor to accomplish this dream and be the next Principal at Mecosta Elementary. I am excited to continue the amazing work that has been done here at Mecosta, and nurture positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
