Every one of us has a reason to be proud and celebrate, Warriors!
Chippewa Hills students have performed higher on state assessments than state, regional, and local ISD averages!
Back in 2017, we worked together as a District to implement Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). This educational framework provides a tiered approach to address the diverse academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of our students. MTSS involves implementing various levels of support, data-driven decision-making, collaboration among all staff, prevention and early intervention, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Our goal is to operate as one team throughout the District to ensure that every one of our Warriors receives the appropriate support and opportunities for success.
As you can see in the graph below, our efforts are working! All students and adults in our district work day in and day out to meet WARRIOR expectations and it is paying off social-emotionally and academically. For the past few testing cycles, our Warriors have surpassed the Mecosta-Osceola ISD, West Central Michigan Region, and Michigan averages of proficiency on state assessments. Our focus and commitment to operating as a District-wide team has led to our impressive improvement in student outcomes!
We’re gaining tremendous recognition across the state as schools all over Michigan have requested to visit Chippewa Hills to learn more about our systems and processes. We’re thrilled to share our story and showcase our students’ success. Thank you for all you do and for being part of our team.
Congratulations on this achievement, Warriors!
