Power is back on in Barryton! Students were just loading the busses, so they are heading back inside now. Happy 2nd day of school and thank for bearing with us as we navigate the unexpected!
Due to a widespread power outage, Barryton Elementary is currently without power. All students are being transported by bus to the High School Auditorium for the remainder of the school day. At the end of the day, students will be transported by bus back to Barryton Elementary where they will be dismissed at 3:15 PM with their usual dismissal procedures. Unfortunately, there is not enough time to safely transport all the Barryton students home before the busses will be needed for dismissal at all the other buildings. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
